The Mourning partner program is for funeral homes, celebrants, counselors, attorneys, and everyone who serves grieving families. Refer a family to Mourning and receive 50% of every permanent archive they purchase — $99.50 of $199, tracked automatically, paid quarterly. It costs nothing to join and nothing extra for the family.

Receive your partner link
A simple link with your code — mourning.io/?ref=your-code. Put it in your aftercare packet, your email signature, your website, or hand it to a family directly.

Families use Mourning free
Everything a family needs in the first weeks costs nothing: the workspace, the memorial page, the checklist, the guestbook. You are never asking a grieving family to buy something.

You receive half of every archive
If a family you referred makes their archive permanent — $199, once — half of it is yours: $99.50 per sale. Referrals are tracked for 90 days and paid out quarterly.

Questions, answered plainly
- How much do partners earn?
- 50% of every permanent archive purchase made by a family you referred — $99.50 of the $199 one-time price. There is no cap and no cost to join.
- How are referrals tracked?
- Your partner link carries your code. When a family arrives through it, the code is remembered for 90 days and attached to any memorial they create. If they later purchase the permanent archive, the sale is credited to you automatically — even if they buy weeks after first visiting.
- When and how are partners paid?
- Payouts are settled quarterly, with a statement of each credited sale. We'll confirm your preferred payment method (bank transfer or PayPal) when your application is approved.
- Does it cost the family more?
- No. The price is the same $199 whether or not a partner referred them. Your share comes out of our side, never added to theirs.
- Can I sell my own services through Mourning?
- That's where this is going. Partner profiles and the ability to offer your products and services to families through Mourning are in development — early partners in the referral program will be the first invited.
- Is Mourning affiliated with any funeral home or chain?
- No. Mourning is independent, carries no ads, and doesn't sell family data. The partner program is the only commercial relationship we have with providers, and it is always disclosed as such.
